Hi guys, I xC2 xB4m having problems with data access in my onda tablet. Looking for a solution in onda oficial site i found a firmware update. Diferent of other updates, that have SD installation, the last one is a image that need to be flashed to the hardware.
Translating the chinese instructions, i installed the phoenixsuit in my windows, and conect the tablet to the computer. I have try the instalation in all computer of my family (windows 8 64bit, windows 7 64biy, windows 7 32 bit, and windows xp (portuguese) 32 bits running in a vmware fusion machine. All the computers, when i connect the tablet, recognize it with M3-chip, and no driver is installed and the flash tool do no work. I try anoter flash solution, the Livesuit, but the computer continue showing m3-chip in hardware manager, with the same m3-chip 'driver no found'. I try the aml tool too, and the m3-chip is recognize whem i point the install driver to the usbdrive folder, instaling a drive, and reconizin a hardware in main screen. I need help to know: 1- The phoenixsuit and the drivers runs only in XP in english? 2- may i use the AML flash tool to flash this firmware?
The aml asked me a image with.aml extension. It xC2 xB4s right?
We have a specific image format to use with aml? So have to use AML tool & right Firmware Package to Flash goto this site; it provide official pakages Now the Flashing thing: there is two method to do this: METHOD 1: (SD-Card Method) Tested 1- Unzip contents of firmware zip into root of external SD card. 2- With power off, hold the home button which is on the front of the tablet. 3- Turn power on and keep home button pressed until tablet enters update mode. Should update automatically.
METHOD 2: (AMLogic Flashing Tool) Tested 1. Download AMLFlash.zip, 2. Unzip the AMLFlash.zip archive 3. In control panel, open Device Manager 4. With your tablet turned off, connect it to the PC via USB cable.
Feb 21, 2018 - Download zip rar free - WinRAR 5.50: The king of compressed files, and much more programs. Aml Flash Zip Rar. In some circumstances, for.
Press and hold the power and home button 6. When a new device (M3 Worldcup) shows up, right click to get its properties 7.
Select Update Driver and browse to the location of the AML Flash Tool 8. Select the AmlogicusbBurningdriver folder and let the driver update, after the update disconnect the tablet from the PC 9. Start the AML Flash tool (ImageBurnTool.exe) 10. Click the Config -Import Upgrade file on menu bar, select the official zip file 11. Click Start button on the ImageBurnTool.exe (AmlogicBurningTool) 12. With the tablet off, connect the usb cable 13. Press power and home (like going into recovery) 14.
The tablet should start going into recovery but stop at fastboot/bootloader because of the active AML flash application & appears on AML flash tool (with blue port ) 15. Click on 'Start' Button to Start flashing. Once you get 100% you would see the flashing green (port button), disconnect the tablet to the PC and power-up your tablet Manually. You are done with flashing firmware. My tablet only showed the first screen, I tried the second option AML Flash after trying several times the update with a sd-card i bricked my tablet and then I couldn´t get the recovery screen.
When in process I got the same error described above 'can not open the file configprogress.xml usbspl.bin', what I did is after that I shutdown again the tablet and put the sd-card with the update on it and this time the tablet went into the auto recovery, after finished I just removed the sd-card and turn of/on the tablet again and this time the tablet was complete updated and could go into START screen. The tablet had AML8726-MXS, AXP202, RTL8188ETV, SILEAD GSL1680, 7inch, in the back it reads APEX DIGITAL EMDOOR EM63 and the img file I was using was the 20140507, hope this help someone else.
Hi Connor, seems like i finally found the right guy for my bricked CMX MID Aquila 080 aka ONDA v811 I have read all tech related postings and tried everything.no luck. Maybe u ve got some Inspiration The Story: I ve got the But the bottom part of the keyboard was acting weird to i started peek around in the fs. Found some hints towards ONDA and i think it's just a resale ONDA v811 from the same factory. So i took the risk and flashed you ICS CUSTOM ROM based on stock ROMs v.1.4-1.5.5 via SD.
Worked like a charm and i had nice tablet. Then i decided to check out the 4.1 series and flashed the official V811Dv2.11SD via SD. Had to remove the assert failed getprop for that. Also did it twice Now it didnt boot up anymore, no white robots and no green robots.
(But Display turning on like mentioned in your dead or alive thread) Except i inserted a 'right' SD Card with SD Flash Files, then it went directly into (green) flashing. At the end rebooted.and flashed again.
Tried that multiple times with your ICS Final Rom. Then i got the AML Flasher and the official 1.5.5 Firmware. Everything fine, World Cup Device etc. But then i end up at the some stage as Farz.'
Cannot find disk 30 times'. But a new drive called 'Linux USB Store Gadget' appeared but is not accessible Also tried erasing NAND few times.didnt work. Of course now the display is off, but guess thats due to T 112:45:36: command exec:video dev bloff T 112:45:37: command exec:video dev disable. I still got a backup of the original boot.img bootloader.img recovery.img and recovery-from-boot.p (First 3 based on a dd dump) But due to the partition size theyve got 8 MB. So.any hints?
Thanks, Sebastian. Hi Connor, seems like i finally found the right guy for my bricked CMX MID Aquila 080 aka ONDA v811 I have read all tech related postings and tried everything.no luck. Thanks, Sebastian Hi! Last time there are much tablets which are OEM 'Onda' - Neostra. Right way to check is it manufactured by Onda as OEM - to check build.prop info.
Firmware programers are the same as in Onda firmwares. Sometime Onda firmwares are compatible with OEM tablets. But some OEM tablets have some changes in hardware (mostly NAND types) so u-boot.bin is incompatible. There is no harm for tablet if you'll flash incompatible firmware (exept if you use firmware with different display resolution or different CPU types). The result of wrong firmware - wrong nand partition and wrong bootloader, which prevent from boot.
In my 'V811Dv2.11SD' (and my firmwares) 'assert check' removed. (see METAINF.updater.script) 'cannot find disk 30 times' - common error I upload corrected version of AML Flash tool, but it is still highly depend on your PC usb hardware bridges. Also were are drivers conflict when you use AML Flash and LiveSuit and so on. 'cannot find disk 30 times' - means that file usb.spl and u-boot.bin can't connect your tablet with proper uImage to PC usb-port. Also, there is no easy way to resolve this error in case you use proper firmware. Sometime shall help to uninstall AML drivers, sometimes - use another PC.
AML work is very dependent on PC motherboard. I think factory uses very simple old PC with Win XP 32 bit and hub only. In your case: 1/ Use stock firmware for your model exactly 2/ In case 'cannot find disk 30 times' try to find somethere simple PC/laptop with ENGLISH Windows XP 32 bit with no USB/wireless mouse/keyboard, no external hubs Also - it concerns ONDA tablets only (that I checked) - can be important not model only, but tablet version (number in the serial after letter V). Thank you very much!
In case somebody got similar problems here is what i did: -Searched my dumps for the build.prop.Googled for the reference product id without resale addition -Downloaded the matching Onda firmware 1.5.5 which is supplied with the flashing tool -Setup a Virtual Box with XP SP3 32 Bit -Passed through the matching USB Ports (again and again;) Praying. So if anybody got a CMX Aquila 080-100: If it was delivered with Android 4.0.3 its effectively an ONDA Vi30 For Rescue Operations use: If it was delivered with Android 4.1 already it should be an ONDA V801 For Rescue Operations use: BTW:In the 801D ro.build.user=connor.zhang Thank you very much again!

Glad to help!
Actually to restore bricked tablets I sometimes use boot microSD with WinImage, in case AML Flash tool can't define bricked tablets. It always help.
And - best and recommended OS for AML Tool - is Windows XP 32bit -! All logs from factories show that chinese manufacturers use Windows XP 32 bit only to flash firmware, you're right.

Hi It just so happens that at the weekend i saw a CMX Aquila 4.03 in Saturn in the sale dump area. I promtly tried to blow 4.1.1 off the insternet via SD card recovery method.
Now the fun has started lol as I just get a screen on, no more white or green android. Until i put the ONDA 1.5.5 s/w you mentioned above. Now its a green android boot loop. So can you please elaborate what 'assert' replacement game is all about in detail? And am I at the stage now of having to send the F/W via USB connection or will an SD version work? Also is the CMX Aquila that has 4.1.1 JB alreday a better spec?
I couldnt find any detail other than 1.5 dual core 8gb Regards Andy Edited by AndyCMX, 08 April 2013 - 08:48 AM. Sorry, did you mean then I have to do with the Android system recovery - wipe data/factory reset and after confirming the choice hold power button to turn off tablet? Thanks Frantisek If you mean 972 Quad Core - it depend which stock/custom firmwares you use.
I prefer for 972 Quad Core my own custom firmware which can be flashed through OTA upgrade. In case your boot freezed on logo, try to long press Power to turn off, after that press Power to start. If tablet freezes again on logo (not logo this green first aid bag?) - flash with stock 2.0 firmware which uses.img - Phoenics Suit 1.06. Hi.Valkoz.I'M ONUR FROM TURKEY. At first I did some research and then froze my tablet android hard shot found your website. I applied the following operations.: Need a FAT32 formatted microSD card with the following files: (Place directly in the microSD - not in any folder) 1.
Amlautoscript (Don't copy this file on the first attempt) 2. Factoryupdateparam.aml 3. G06refe3-ota-eng.chengnan.tan.zip 4.
U-boot.bin 5. UImagerecovery First 2 files are in Aurora2Unbrick.rar (914 bytes) Aurora II Stock Firmware 0705 contains all the remaining 4 files. It can be downloaded from Stock ROMs thread in this forum. Note: Make sure the zip file and zip file name in factoryupdateparam.aml matches. Switch off the tablet.
Insert the microSD card with the files into the tablet slot. Enter into recovery mode. Press Volume- + Power. Release after 10 seconds.
Wait for 2 minutes. Tablet will switch off after update.
Remove microSD from the tablet before reboot. Power on the tablet. Edited 16-Sep-2012: Now 2 persons have reported that their tablet cannot be switched on, after using this (3rd) method. Caution is advised. Use this 3rd method as a last resort and at your own risk.
I was able to unbrick my Aurora II with this method. On the first attempt, try without amlautoscript file. Copy only the remaining 5 files to microSD and try. If it doesn't work, then copy amlautoscript also to microSD and try it. Please confirm the 0705 Stock Firmware links from List of Official ROM thread - ).zip Unzip to get the remaining 4 files from one of these links. Look also for post - Points to consider during recovery later in this thread.
Now turn on my tablet. Not be charged. You see when I connect the usb to pc as chip-06. I downloaded the driver then. AMC installed burning tools. What can I do please help 5 year old son, very sorry for the tablet breaks down. How can I avoid this situation?
Many thanks in advance. Brand tablet ainol aurora 2. Hello, i have a onda V701 V3 and averything i tried on the internet did not helped. What can i do to repair my tablet? Please help me. In case you flashed wrong firmware: 1. Download right firmware which uses Image Burn Tool (AML flash) 2.
Flash firmware in two steps (first - check 'erase nand', after that - with unchecked 'erase nand') That's all PS. I can post a link to right firmware, but I need to know right model - 701. In case you have right firmware with Image Burn, start firstly on PC 'Device manager', after that connect tablet and look, what the new device 'll appear in the Device manager. Long press Power to turn off tablet, new device shall disappear from Device manager. Start Image Burn and follow tutorial in the header Edited by valkoz, 25 April 2013 - 01:52 PM. Hi I have a vi40 dual core and wanted to upgrade the firmware as I could never get the Google contacts to work. Ive looked at many posts about the vi40DC, and noticed that there was a V2 upgrade on the onda.cn site.
I unzipped the file onto the root of my SD, booted into recovery, then ran the update.zip file. Every time I have ever tried to update to various roms mentioned in other forums, the rom manager has rejected these with a bad signature, however this completed. I was genuinely excited, I was finally going to get a fully working tablet.
Unfortunately all was not as planned, the tablet is now bricked. It fails to power. I have left this on overnight to charge, and it had a good charge before the flash. It wont start, it wont go into recovery, Ive tried pressing buttons in all sorts of orders and nothing happens. It doesnt even show a power indicator when plugged in.
If I can't get this fixed then I need to send this back to Ebellking under warranty. This means shipping it back to China and paying its return cost, totalling £30-£40. Any help is appreciated. Thanks If you have vi40 dual core, and have firmware problem: 1. Use RESQUE FIRMWARES for ONDA TABLETS with Amlogic Image Burning Tool v.1.6.2.0128 (2013-02-10) in the header (first page) 95.21KB 44 downloads - charge tablet for 1 hour - follow picture manual in the header (first page) 111.39KB 39 downloads Attention: in case you can't detect is your tablet off or on, start Amlogic Image Burning Tool and just connect tablet to pc. Last 2 years I successfully use 40Dresque.zip to repair bricked tablets PS. Regarding your symptoms: 'It wont start, it wont go into recovery, Ive tried pressing buttons in all sorts of orders and nothing happens.
It doesnt even show a power indicator when plugged in' - you have no bootloader installed, so: - 'It wont start, it wont go into recovery' - it's Ok, untill you'll flash 40Dresque.zip - 'It doesnt even show a power indicator when plugged in' - it's Ok, untill you'll flash 40Dresque.zip - 'Ive tried pressing buttons in all sorts of orders and nothing happens.' - just start Amlogic Image Burning Tool anf plug tablet into PC.
If Amlogic Image Burning Tool detect tablet - start flashing. Otherwise - long press Power, press Home. Maybe - something wrong with Amlogic Image Burning Tool Drivers - when tablet plugged into PC, Windows device manager must detect your tablet! Edited by valkoz, 19 May 2013 - 01:09 PM.
